Conversation series
These seminars are informal conversations centering around a designated topic - for example, the meaning of international health, food and hunger in the world, HIV/AIDS lessons learned from Uganda etc. Each seminar will be facilitated by a postgraduate student or member of the CIH academic staff and, as facilitators, we hope that we can provide an opportunity to share our different perspectives and ideas in the hope of learning from each other.
The series aims for us to:
- Enjoy a stimulating and constructive atmosphere and share perspectives on international health with others
-
Have an opportunity for some students to interact with staff and other students of the Centre and Faculty about contemporary issues in international health
- Have an opportunity for students to step out of the isolation of studying and meet with others for collegial support and sharing of ideas and information
Please note, there will be no Conversation Series for 2008.
