Consultancy
Established in 1999, the Centre has the responsibility for ongoing health education,
consultancy and research and development in the international arena.
The Centre is currently focusing on establishing consultancy projects, particularly those internationally-based, in an effort to assist communities in developing countries. These initiatives are informed by global health policies to which the Centre closely aligns its activities.
The Centre can make a valuable contribution through the provision of expertise in rapid response to international health crises. Consultants can be provided in a variety of areas including infant and maternal health, sexually transmissible diseases, infectious diseases, reproductive health and project management.
The Centre has a number of internationally recognised experts in various areas of health: Two members of the Centre are advisors to the World Health Organization; one associate is involved with the World Bank and another with the Bangladesh Rural Advancement Committee. In addition, the Centre has attracted a number of eminent scholars as Adjunct Fellows who bring their research expertise and productivity to the Centre.

- Maternal and Obstetric Care in the developing world
- Refugee and Migrant Health
- Social Assessments in Post-conflict Transitional Societies (East Timor, Rwanda)
